Moim zdaniem prawdziwš perełkš w dyskografii Davida jest "Wishbones"; osišgnšł na niej ten poziom, na którym tworzy Mark. Zresztš też wsparł go swoimi solówkami na gitarze slide Chris Rea - w otwierajšcym album, genialnym utworze "A Clear Day". "Ship of Dreams" już jest trochę gorsza, a "Songs for the Siren" to przeciętniak, podobnie jak "Lips Against the Steel" z 1988. Pozostałych płyt młodszego Knopflera niestety nie znam.
Ale żeby "Ship of Dreams" było lepszš płytš od "Shangri-La"?
