Eric Clapton w wywiadzie dla Rolling Stone na pytanie "Czy są muzycy których podziwiasz?" odpowiedział właśnie, że Mark Knopfler jest jednym z nich. Nikogo chyba nie powinny dziwić ciepłe słowa -chłopaki trochę się już znają i trochę ze sobą pograli ;]
